About Elaine

Music has always been a huge part of my life and as a child I learned violin, recorder and guitar. These days I play saxophone and everyone in the family loves music.

I am a trained lawyer but never felt at home on that career path. When I had my son I was looking for something else to do that meant I could fit around him. That’s when I discovered Kindermusik.

I believe totally in all the research that shows how much an early exposure to music enhances the development of children in all areas, not just music.

Through the excellent programmes that Kindermusik have created, I am now in the privileged position as a licensed educator of being able to facilitate this early exposure to music and share with families my own passion for music and singing. Since beginning to teach Kindermusik in 2007, I have seen first-hand how children develop as they move through the classes. I am so passionate about these classes and the benefits they offer children. I can’t tell you how much pleasure I get from being with the children and watching them grow.

My aim is to provide a fun and relaxed, yet structured, environment where children and their parents and carers can experience and participate in the joy of music. I do hope you can come and join us!
